Discovery Place is always a hit - a family-friendly science museum within walking distance of the hotel. It houses an aquarium, walk-through rainforest, and nature exhibits downstairs. Upstairs, you will find a world of hands-on experiments that is sure to bring out the kid in anyone!
The Mint Museum is freshly relocated in downtown. The architecturally stunning building houses not only local art, but the world renowned Craft Design collection.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame just recently found it's home in Charlotte. The Hall is full of old race cars, interactive games, and exhibits.
Imaginon is not just a Children's Library, it is also home to many traveling exhibits that are not just for kids. Just two blocks from the Holiday Inn and admission is free.
