Our Story
The date was July 24, 2012. After a double date to the movies and a hole-in-the-wall restaurant downtown, we found ourselves walking around the Green uptown. Just twelve days after his back surgery, Josh broke all the rules and bent down on one knee. Needless to say, Tracy said yes!
Way back on December 22, 2010, we first met. After a few awkward weeks of hesitation, we went for it and had a lovely evening in a quaint Italian restaurant. After spending four hours talking, the waitstaff removed our plates that we never once touched, boxed up our dinner, and asked us kindly to leave as they had been attempting to close for an hour. With our boxed dinner, we headed downtown to find a wine bar in hopes of keeping the evening going. As we soon found, most places close down early around Christmas, leaving us to wander the streets and eventually the
Green in a last ditch effort to make the night continue.
It was only fitting that we got engaged in the same park that we began our relationship, this time with close friends around.
